The HD3-AC8.3.T thermostatic fan remote kit is universal and compatible with most 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans from brands like Hampton Bay, Home Decorators Collection, Harbor Breeze, Hunter, Honeywell, and more. It is suitable for most downrod style fans but not recommended for hugger style fans. The remote can control incandescent light bulbs and some dimmable LED lamps, with the ability to dim the light. It does not support dimming for most LED and all CFL lamps, only offering ON/OFF function in those cases.

Installation is easy and straightforward, simply match the wire colors or follow the labels for a seamless setup. The remote also features a light dimmer setting and an away time delay function which turns off the lights after you leave the room, but keeps them on for an additional 30 seconds.
